Treatments:
shi-animal-atsu
(TM) (shiatsu) for horses

(more information on Shiatsu for horses here)

A treatment for a horse takes 1½ - 2 hours.

Horse treatments are carried out in a stable or if the weather is appropriate outside.

The horse should be well groomed, removing all mud and faeces to allow the opportunity to work close to the meridians

Treatments should be arranged at a quiet time, ie away from all external disturbances e.g children playing, feeding time on the yard etc.

The owner's/caretaker's presence is required the whole time, this will allow the opportunity to ask those all important questions during the treatment and of course for safety.

For safety reasons the answering of phones, blackberry’s and the sending of texts during treatment is prohibited.

Please expect your horse to have at least one days rest following a treatment, this will allow the opportunity for the treatment to be integrated releasing all their aches and pains, regaining calmness and soundness again. A full days turn out is recommended if possible.

Prior to the treatment a courtesy call to your vet is required to let them know you have chosen to do complementary therapy with your horse, this will also help to establish a working relationship with your vet regarding your horse’s problem and therefore enables the problem to be resolved much quicker.

Cost: £75.00 per session
